Job Description:

Post Duties

• The Office Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Aberdeen office including the Support Services budget.

• As project manager for the budget, ensure that financial management for the Aberdeen office running costs is undertaken efficiently and effectively and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. This includes overseeing the administration of processes and contracts and supporting planning, monitoring and reporting of expenditure and income.

• Liaise with other Inverdee House organisations regarding the provision of suitable, environmentally sensitive shared office and administrative facilities within Inverdee House
 
• Maintaining a high standard of health and safety, relative to the office functions, ensuring that JNCC procedures are followed, relative health and safety assessments are carried out and that recommendations for action are implemented promptly. Liaise with SEPA/SNH H&S representatives as appropriate. Support and work with the H&S Officer on the wider JNCC requirements

• Line manages the Admin Officer, including day-to-day work, performance and personal development

• Support and assist the Health & Safety Officer in the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures and completion of risk assessments

• Help to develop administrative systems, practices and services relating to filing, financial, reporting and other administrative support, that efficiently and effectively meets the needs of staff in the Aberdeen office and wider JNCC requirements
