• JNCC collaborates with international governments and UN bodies to shape multilateral environmental agreement frameworks.
• JNCC supports the UK Government’s international negotiations, representing the UK as a scientific advisor in international meetings.
• JNCC promotes collaboration within the UK on how the UK’s international commitments will be delivered and reported.
• JNCC supports countries beyond the UK by sharing its UK science expertise to help inform their domestic environmental strategies.
• JNCC supports the UKOTs and CDs in understanding and engaging with multilateral environmental agreement processes.
