North-West Jones Bank Marine Protected Area and Surrounding Area, September 2025 Survey Report (TC25023) 2026

Abstract

A survey at North-West of Jones Bank Marine Protected Area (MPA), and the surrounding area was carried out between 9 and 24 September 2025 on the Marine Institute of Ireland's Research Vessel (RV) Tom Crean (survey code TC25023).

The survey was conducted by staff from JNCC and the Marine Institute of Ireland. This report describes the survey design and methods as well as the events of the survey and the data collected. Results of analyses of the data collected will be reported on separately.
