Abstract

The Ocean Country Partnership Programme (OCPP), at the request of the Ministry of Blue Economy and Marin Conservation in Belize, was tasked to review existing marine data, MPA data strategies and associated indicators across the existing marine protected area network. The aim of this work is to help streamline the multiple frameworks currently in use to monitor, manage and inform MPA effectiveness, leading to consistent and efficient data collection in Belize's marine environment.
