To celebrate World Ocean Day 2021 today, we are proud to present a new video documenting the role the ocean plays in tackling the twin climate and biodiversity crises. In this Super Year, understanding and recognising the role the marine environment plays in reducing the impacts of climate change, and the impacts climate change can have on our ocean and biodiversity, is critical.
We are actively working to build the evidence base around the potential impacts of climate change on marine biodiversity, as well as improving our understanding of how the ocean can help us mitigate, and adapt to, the impacts of climate change.
