Protected Areas in Gibraltar

The UK Overseas Territory of Gibraltar is responsible for overseeing the selection and management of Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) and Special Protection Areas (SPAs) within its territory. 

Gibraltar currently has two sites, covering a total area of 5,687 ha, both of which have been (a) classified as SACs and (b) designated as SPAs.
